Scammers info with email addresses, place where they live with description how they do scam! Year 2006. and older... |
Info about customers who attempted to, or succeeded in ripping online sellers off. These scammers initiated charge backs/bank disputes, and this way tried to essentially steal seller money after receiving the final digital product. All informations on this page refer to true and double checked incidents! |

• 2006. - David Gorby Jr, Robertsville; Ohio; USA, gorbusmaximus@yahoo.com, purchased php script, then purchased installation service but did not provided correct hosting panel url and login info. Seller asked him to provide required info, and he done that after 2 days but also started to complaining about how he wait too long for installation etc... Next day seller went to his account and wanted to finally upload script, but server where customer have account was suffering from problems with ftp access and uploading was impossible. Seller again contacted customer and explained the problem. OK, fifth day, server works, script is finally uploaded, but now installation file wont execute on customer's hosting account!
Contact customer once again explaining that he really have bad hosting and to either contact his provider to resolve this or to purchase decent hosting. At the same time customer do not stop verbal harrasing about how seller is slow on installation! To conclude, customer at the end opened claim/dispute and seller refunded him both payments! |
• 2006. - Bill Vannot, New South Wales; Australia, sales@successfull-marketing.com and admin@admistress.com, purchased php script with installation, received both script and installation. But customer did not readed simple instructions in script members area. Contacted seller implying that script do not work correct, and after 40 minutes of examining seller find out that customer do not use script correct. Customer received informations about what to do and seller kind request to pay for one hour support because seller do not offer free support. Instead of paying for support, customer opened claims for both script and installation service payments. |
• 2006. - Jessica J Williams, Gainesville; USA, jwilliams@blulunanetwork.com, purchased php script, downloaded it, installed it and then started to harras seller to send the unlock key. Seller polite explained that unlock key is fully described on FAQ page and that they only need to follow simple procedure. Which they declined and customer opened Dispute/Claim and asked for refundation, lying about the reason they ask refundation. And they ripped seller off. Beware - THIEVES!!! Customer contacts seller from time to time and laugh how she screwed seller! |
• 2006. - Stefan de Brouwer, Berkel; Netherlands, kleinbafke@hotmail.com, purchased hosting account but for domain that he do not own, so he figured out that he cant use this domain and asked seller to erase old account and create new one for new domain. This was done correctly, but customer did not changed nameservers, and his domain was of course offline all the time. Stefan get nervous, he think that seller is responsible for domain propagation. In the meantime customer purchases installation service for his script, but due to high volume of orders seller had and confusion customer generated with domains and nameservers, seller were a bit late with installation. Customer of course started harrasing and opened claims/disputes for his orders. |
• 2006. - Deana Hoover, Gresham; USA, hoovermcdowell@hotmail.com, purchased php script, did not installed it at all but was expecting to receive script unlock key. She did not contacted seller, instead she opened claim at payment processor she used where she claimed that she never received unlock key. Seller gived her a link to FAQ page where unlock key procedure is explained. No changes! Resulted with refunadation! |
• 2006. - Thomas Whiting, Waterloo; USA, tech@linux-tech.net, purchased php script, and 30 minutes after that he started to write seller email threats about if seller do not provide unlock key at once that he will initiate chargeback, request refundation - which he did soon after that... |
• 2006. - Lee Medina, Crystal River; USA, siegfried@niederrad.net, purchased cgi script and tried to explain seller that installation instructions that comes with script are "completely incomplete". Since this is not true, seller declined that. Customer opened a claim and tried to steal money by requesting a refund, but he failed. |
• Wendy Rieb, Tarpon Springs; USA, info@tracecomusa.com, purchased php script and decided that script do not work correct and requested refundation. Seller offered paid support service to find out what she done wrong but she declined that option and started to harras seller with "script do not work" emails and started to post lies about seller site on forums and directories. |
• Mark Brandon, Austin; USA, markebrandon@hotmail.com, purchased php script, but it turned out that customer's server is not compatible with script and have very unusual settings that will not execute the script. Seller explained that to customer and told him that changing server will solve this problem, or to try to contact hosting provider with problem description, but customer initiated chargeback! |
• Eddie Miller, Leicester; UK, support@notar.co.uk, purchased cgi script, and after that he was not able to install or configure it correctly; so he requested free support. Seller do not offer free support - this is clearly stated on seller site. After seller kindly notified customer that he can pay for support, he initiated refund request and unfortunately received it. |
• Andra Hernandez, La Feria; USA, purchased cgi script with installation, but never provided correct hosting account information because of which installation was impossible. Customer requested a refundation at payment processor and lied about why the refund was required, and got away with stealing the script. |
• Michael Mosby, WilliamsBay; USA, mbm2351@yahoo.com, purchased hosting and php script with installation. He received exactly what he purchased. But, he wanted script modifications for free and initiated chargeback with his credit card company. The money is back with the customer. |
